Millennials and GiGse 2016

The Global iGaming Summit & Expo held in San Francisco from April 27-29, understood the increasing interest the industry has on attracting millennials.

US.- The Global iGaming Summit & Expo (GiGse) held in San Francisco and organised by Clarion Events, was the venue of choice for many developers and operators to bring all that cutting edge technology to the increasing demographic of millennials.

The summit has been considered the forefront of the North American iGaming sector for the last six years. In this edition, GiGse included a fresh focus on technology innovation and the latest leading gaming channels of DFS and e-sports, although the new twist was the first Millennial Summit, with one and a half days of sessions dedicated to this demographic and their gambling preferences.

The future of innovative skill gaming will surely be adapted to the newly defined and emerging needs of the fast-paced millennial generation which is internet savvy, mobile device-oriented and looking to use all that information to have a good time ASAP. Engaging this generation will be achieved through multiple touch-points in the interests of creating a sensory environment that engages them.

“There is a huge buzz around Millennials at present, and this is a great opportunity to come together to talk about what makes them tick and what impact they can have” said Sadie Walters Clarion’s Senior Events Producer.
