Maryland Live is the state’s top casino

National Harbor had stolen its position as top revenue scorer in January.

US.- The Maryland Lottery and Gaming released the figures reported by the state’s six casinos on Monday. Maryland Live is the state’s top revenue scorer once again, after MGM National Harbor stole the spotlight on January.

The local agency showed that the six casinos had a new record once again in February, after they generated US$128 million in gaming revenue. On January, the gambling facilities generated US$126 million, a 43 higher compared to the results obtained in the same period in 2016. Without National Harbor’s incomes, the five casinos experienced an 11 percent year-on-year decline. Maryland Live collected US$44 million in January, US$4 million less than MGM’s casino, and 15.5 percent less than the amount they reported in January 2016.

Last month, the former generated US$46.3 million, almost US$2.3 million higher than the previous month and US$7 million less than 2016’s numbers. National Harbor came in second place with US$500.000 less than the historic top scorer to US$45.8 million. The numbers represent a 3 percent fall compared to January. Horseshoe continued to grow with a 10 percent increase from January, but still a 12 percent fall year-on-year.
