Imperial Pacific to be ready this week
The upcoming Saipan casino Imperial Pacific will complete the construction process by Friday.
Saipan.- Imperial Pacific International Holdings Ltd. announced that the upcoming casino of the Northern Mariana Islands will finish its construction phase this week. Earlier this month the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) granted the company the permission to delay the installation of the permanent casino.
“It is expected that the site construction of the casino of the Imperial Pacific Resort will be completed on March 31, 2017 and will be opened to the public, while the hotel of the Imperial Pacific Resort will be opened in the second half of 2017,” said the company on a report released on Monday. Whilst they didn’t say if the facility would be operational, they commented that the construction has been progressing smoothly, and that there’s a couple of thousands workers working every day to complete the facility.
The new gambling facility casino would feature around 200 to 300 gaming tables and 300 to 400 slot machines. The 350-suite resort is being designed by Steelman Partners LLP, which has been involved in the design of several large casinos in Asia and elsewhere.
