Rank Group remains on the hunt for a new managing director for its online and land-based Grosvenor Casinos business.
UK.- Rank Group has confirmed that is searching for a new managing director for its online and land-based Grosvenor Casinos business, after the previous MD, Mark Jones, departed following seven years with the operator.
Jones left earlier this year having served as managing director of Grosvenor Casinos since October 2014. He was also responsible for the brand’s iGaming offering. Jones worked for Rank since 2009, joining as managing director of the operator’s bingo division with oversight of the company’s retail and digital Mecca brand and the Spanish-facing Enracha.
Between May 2015 and June this year Jones served as non-executive chairman of the UK casino sector’s trade association, the National Casino Forum.
He stepped down from his role at the end of the company’s 2015/16 financial year to take charge of Goals Soccer Centres, a business that owns a range of five-a-side football pitches across the UK. In the meantime, Rank’s search for his successor is ongoing.
