Gongzi Jeju Casino opened its doors

The South Korean gambling facility has officially launched its operations this week, as confirmed by its management.

South Korea.- Gongzi Jeju Casino opened its doors to the public as it launched its operations on Sunday, as its management team confirmed in a press release. The pre launch and renovation period started on April 28.

The casino that is located inside the Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel facility features 40.000 m2 exclusively for foreigners. The gambling venue that was previously called Ramada Plaza Jeju Casino offers 24 slot machines and 45 gaming tables. Chief Operating Officer of Gongzi Jeju, Lysa Evans, said: “We have brought Jeju all the latest gaming technologies and gaming integrity parallel to Macau, Singapore and other world-class gaming destinations. Our Gongzi owner’s vision was to create a gaming experience in a location that was accessible, with fantastic natural scenery and relaxing entertainment.”

The revamped facility is set to boost the local economy in Jeju, as well as the gaming industry, which has been considering further supervision: back in December the provincial government said that the intention was to legislate and manage the foreign-only casinos in the area in order to improve and boost transparency.
