“Events like FADJA are always positive”

(Exclusive interview).- Sirplay is boosting regulated sports betting platforms in the Latin American market through FADJA.

Sirplay Chief Executive Officer Bart Esposito shared with Focus Gaming News the company’s perspective about global development of the sports betting and iGaming industries, as well as the Latin American impact on businesses worldwide. As Sirplay is one of the most acclaimed operators of the market, an upcoming presentation at FADJA event in Colombia will strengthen the company’s presence in the continent.

The Latin American gaming market has not been developed at its fullest yet, do you believe that events like FADJA help with further regulations?

The show is the perfect place to meet, make networking and talk together about the gaming market and its potential. Events like FADJA are always positive in this sense and the presence of Coljuegos with no doubt will affect positively and clarify some doubts on the discussion, but these important and delicate matters should be dealt with seriousness separately.

How will the company experience FADJA as one of the main sponsors? Do you consider the contact with the attendees a key role to generate more recognition in foreign markets?

We have decided to bet on FADJA for three years already, supporting the event as sponsor because we believe in the potential of the show. Considering this year we’ll exhibit as the first sportsbook betting software provider to be certified by GLI in the Colombian jurisdiction and providing the first operator to request the licence to Coljuegos, it’s understandable our bond with FADJA. Besides this, the contact with the audience is always crucial, not just to generate more recognition but to get closer to them and listen to what they want, need, doubt on, etc.

Can you share a preview of what visitors should expect during Sirplay’s participation at FADJA?

It will be a big honour for us to introduce all of FADJA’s attendees to the first operator dealing with Coljuegos, which will share our booth n. 8, surprising all the participants. But to have any other info and know who we are talking about, you’ll have to come to the show, to our stand.

Which are the most relevant markets of the region for Sirplay’s targets?

Of course, the will to strengthen our presence in the countries we are already present it’s strong. We are trying to do it keeping our vision to help the economy of the countries we are working with and find a synergy with them, not just despoil the territory like other providers do. We’d like to be able to start the same mission in Venezuela and Bolivia too, maybe in due time.

Has Sirplay prepared special products or services for FADJA?

Sirplay will exhibit its new partnerships with two giants among the casino games providers: Microgaming and Playtech. These two alliances are proof of our philosophy to always give the chance to our clients to choose the solution they feel more comfortable with and that best suits their requirements.

Which are the biggest challenges for the industry in Latin America?

As you mentioned before, the Latin American gaming industry isn’t at its fullest potential yet. The best way to reach that goal is for sure through regulation. Latin American countries shouldn’t delay any longer taking a decision about this matter.
