DraftKings closed new deal with LA Galaxy

The agreement also comprises StubHub Center, multiple-use sport complex, home of the soccer club.

US.- In spite of the complications DraftKings is going through with American law, the sports betting brand is strengthening its position in the regulated markets signing deals with relevant sports companies. Yesterday, the Californian soccer team, LA Galaxy announced that its fans can now bet on DraftKings’ tournaments.

Virtual competitions will include the LA Galaxy matches in Major League Soccer. Fans of the club that attend to boxing games will be able to experience VIP events due to the deal that turns DraftKings into a founding partner of the StubHub, the LA Galaxy’s stadium. The sports betting operator will have important publicity in the team’s digital properties, social media platforms and at the center.

“This partnership will launch numerous unique and entertaining opportunities for Galaxy fans and guests at StubHub Center. We look forward to a successful relationship with DraftKings,” commented Robert Vartan, director of partnership sales at LA Galaxy and AEG Global Partnerships. The deal includes especial contests with cash prizes and VIP opportunities. The StubHub Center will host the wagering before LA Galaxy matches in a designated entrance exclusively for DraftKings bettors.
