Betclic Everest closes Everest Poker in France

Betclic Everest Group is focusing its offerings in just one website for the French market.

France.- Everest Poker platform will be shutting down next May 31st in the French gaming market. Current players can transfer their bets to a new BetclicPoker account or withdraw all their funds before the deadline, set in early October.

Operators, Betclic Everest Group, explained that they’d rather focus on just one poker website in order to improve their French services and offer better customisable products. Betclic will maintain Everest Poker’s bankroll, VIP status and Summit Points, if customers decide to migrate to the unified platform.

“There was no logic to maintain two poker deals (Everest and BetClick Poker) on the French market. We keep all our ambition and are confident that our customers will benefit poker on BetClick a quality poker offering and an enriched experience with access to offers of Paris sports and horse Paris” issued Isabelle Andres, CEO of BetClick Everest Group. In addition, the latest results revealed a constant decline in poker revenues.
