Best Sunshine to conduct local survey into problem gambling

The operator confirmed that the casino will conduct a local survey.

US.- Best Sunshine Live casino operator and Hong Kong-listed, Imperial Pacific International Holdings Limited, announced that after the accusations of being a safe heaven for illicit activities, the casino will conduct a local survey into problem gambling.

Esther Milne, Legal And Compliance Manager for Imperial Pacific International Holdings Limited, said that the study will be ready before the end of 2016, and they expect it to establish of the residents of the Pacific Ocean island have a gambling problem. The manager said that the process includes a random public survey of people in the islands of Saipan, Rota and Titian and they will ask if they participate in any forms of gambling.

Earlier this week the casino announced that it will operate to help with anti-money laundering laws and with the US Banking Secrecy. Earlier this month Bloomberg said that according to multiple anonymous sources the casino’s success, mainly in baccarat tables, was practically impossible if it wasn’t somehow related to money laundering activity. They believe that with only 16 VIP tables the money flow was too big and that the US Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement network was aware of the activity.
