Australia could grant another casino license

Members of the LNP party said that if they get elected they will reserve a casino license for North or Central Queensland.

Australia.- Deputy Leader Deb Frecklington, member of the Liberal National Party (LNP), said that they will keep a casino license for North or Central Queensland if they get elected for State Government. The news were announced in Yeppoon.

During the first 100 days of being in office the leaders will receive registrations from potential investors interested in obtaining a license. They would offer up to two casino licenses with the goal of attracting investment and jobs into neglected communities. As reported by The Morning Bulletin, the LPD wants to boost the tourism industry in order to create more construction and tourism jobs. Moreover, the leader said that Queensland is stagnating. “The community is crying out for leadership and we have a government stuck in neutral,” she added.

“Developers are extremely interested in building a world-class integrated resort development in regional Queensland but Labor won’t give them a chance. Queenslanders are missing out on billions of dollars of investment and thousands of job opportunities because Labor can’t make a decision,” she said.
