Atlantic City casinos could start a strike

Principal workers union will reveal today their final decisions about the measure.

US.- Local 54 of the Unite-HERE union, main casino workers organisation, will define today its decision against five Atlantic city’s casinos. The principal union of the gaming city could start a strike.

Atlantic City is expecting the final resolution of the workers organisation to respond. Unite-HERE could held the strike against the majority of casinos in the city. The New Jersey’s municipality currently operates only eight casinos after the crisis.

The casino workers union is already protesting against the Trump Taj Mahal and will add to the list Bally’s, Caesars, Harrah’s and the Tropicana casinos. The union says workers made painful sacrifices that need to be reversed now that Atlantic City’s casinos are regaining their financial footing.
